Gutter cleaning in Austin

Live oaks fill Austin gutters with leaves and catkins, so we clear the gutters by hand and flush the downspouts.

What a cleaning includes

We scoop the gutters out by hand and bag the debris. We flush each downspout with water to make sure it drains. While we’re on the ladder, we look for loose hangers, leaking seams, and runs that hold water. You’ll hear about anything we find before we fix anything.

When Austin gutters need it

Live oaks drop leaves, catkins, and pollen through much of the year, so a gutter under oaks can fill in a single season. If trees hang over your roof, plan on a cleaning after the spring leaf drop. Plan on another before the fall storms.

Cleaning and guards

Guards cut down how often your gutters need cleaning, but the tops still need brushing off. If you’re cleaning gutters several times a year, ask us about gutter guards.

What cleaning costs

Angi’s Austin gutter cleaning cost page (updated August 2026) says the average Austin homeowner spends $187, with most jobs ranging between $122 and $257. The cleaning costs guide has more.

Questions about gutter cleaning

How often should gutters be cleaned in Austin?

Under live oaks, clean your gutters at least twice a year, once after the spring leaf drop and once before the fall storms. Houses with no trees overhead can go longer.

Do you clean the downspouts too?

Yes, we clean the downspouts too. We flush every downspout because a clogged one backs water up into a clean gutter.

What happens if you find a problem?

We tell you what we found and what it would take to fix it. Nothing gets repaired until you say so.
